Lovers of chocolate have reason to celebrate: New Zealand’s first chocolate subscription service has launched, delivering a curated selection of artisan chocolates to your door each month. Designed for anyone who enjoys high-quality chocolate, this subscription showcases creations from some of New Zealand’s best chocolatiers and provides a convenient way to discover new flavours.
I was fortunate to receive one of these boxes to sample what The Chocolate Tour offers. The concept is straightforward: if you appreciate fine chocolate, enjoy exploring new tastes, or find it difficult to source specialty chocolates locally, this subscription is a great option. Subscribers choose monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly deliveries, each priced at $49 per box. That fee includes postage and attractive packaging, and when you consider the cost of artisan chocolates bought individually, the convenience and variety make the subscription worth it for many.
This particular box was themed “The Inner Child,” inspired by childhood treats but presented with an artisan twist. I expect each month’s box will present its own theme. The Inner Child box contained seven distinct chocolates, each offering a different experience, and I was excited to sample them all.
