Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until smooth and not grainy.
  2. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  4. Mix until a cohesive dough forms. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
  5. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Allow the dough to sit at room temperature briefly so it is pliable.
  6. Lightly flour a work surface and rolling pin. Roll the dough to an even thickness and cut with a circle cookie cutter.
  7. Place cut cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet using a metal spatula to transfer them.
  8. Bake at 325°F for about 8 minutes, or until the edges are set. Remove from the oven and transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely, about 10 minutes.
  9. Divide white frosting into six small bowls. Tint each bowl a different color with food coloring to represent the Infinity Stones.
  10. Spread or pipe one color of frosting onto each cookie and top with matching rock candy to resemble the stones.
  11. Let the frosting set, then serve and enjoy.
