Hi everyone — happy new week!

How was your weekend? Did you rest and recharge? Are you feeling ready for the week ahead? Share a quick note about your weekend in the comments.

My weekend felt wonderful. My idea of a “fabulous” weekend is simple: sleeping in, staying in pajamas for a lazy morning, enjoying cuddles with my boys, and finishing the day with a cozy family dinner. That relaxed Sunday recharged me and I’m feeling energized for the days ahead.

Today I want to give you a little nudge.

I often hear people say, “I have so many pounds to lose,” or “I’ve tried every diet and nothing works,” or “I can’t do this.” I used to repeat the same negative thoughts myself until it became a habit. I believed I needed a trainer, a nutritionist, or a whole team to change. I thought I couldn’t do it on my own. But I was wrong.

No trainer or top nutritionist can make a lasting change for you unless you begin the change for yourself. You must take the first step. If you keep telling yourself you can’t, don’t know how, or won’t succeed, nothing will change. Once you stop the negative loop, small shifts begin to happen. Instead of complaining, focus on daily, positive habits that make your life healthier, such as:

• Today I will choose healthy foods.

• Today I will go for a walk.

• Today I will eat my vegetables.

• Today I will drink eight glasses of water.

• Today I will practice positive thinking and be kind to myself.

Did you know it often takes around 21 days to build a habit? Repeating a simple, healthy routine — balanced meals, regular activity, and a positive mindset — for a few weeks can create lasting change. Avoid framing choices with restrictions like “I can’t eat that.” Instead, celebrate the positive choices you make and be proud of small wins. In three weeks you may already feel and see a difference. Believe in yourself — you might find old habits fading without force.

Still thinking you can’t do it? Say it out loud — and then try one small change today. That first step matters more than you think.

Hugs and kisses. See you next Monday!

Until then, leave a comment or send a message by email. I love connecting with you.

Xoxo,
Natalie
